These hand drums were transferred images of Edward Curtis photography (public domain art), horse hair, and paint. The images are lasered onto extremely thin decal sheets (i.e. about 10 times thinner than plastic food wrap), then melted into the drum with turpentine or a heat gun for permanence.​
