Archived Drums (Sold)

 

These hand drums were transferred images of Edward Curtis photography (public domain art), with a combination of embellished horse hair, yarn, beads, fringe, paint and in 1 case a deer tail. The images are lasered onto extremely thin decal sheets (i.e. about 10 times thinner than plastic food wrap), then melted into the drum with turpentine or a heat gun for permanence.​
